Built on a hill and set in eight acres of garden and woodland, the Old Gardeners Lodge self catering holiday cottage sits below the main house and commands prime views over the former mill pond. You will also enjoy views over the terraced gardens that date back to the 19th century.

Overlooking a former mill pond just outside of the picturesque town of Holmfirth, this luxury self-catering holiday cottage dates back about 200 years. The beautiful arched windows are a testament to it’s former glory. Having been lovingly restored and extended you will enjoy the comforts of modern living in a cosy holiday cottage that is full of charm and character.

The living accommodation is open plan with large lounge area, dining area and a superbly appointed kitchen that will tempt you to stay in and cook. The kitchen has a five ring gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. There is also a washer should the need arise.

The main bedroom is a beautifully appointed double bedroom, with a large en-suite shower room and enjoying double aspect views of the gardens & woods.

The second bedroom is a very comfortable twin bedroom overlooking the former mill pond. The family bathroom, which sits between the two bedrooms, is spacious and caters for those who like baths or showers.

Holmfirth and the surrounding area have a wide and growing culinary range of high standard restaurants to enjoy. From hearty pub fare to fine dining are all within accessible reach of the Old Gardeners Lodge.
